There is some hot stuff here. I will definitely use some of these in future projects. Best wishes for next year

Thanks! :) Best wishes to you too

can i use this for logo making? :O

Yes you can!

(+1)

Awesome!! Can I use the fonts on a website?

(+1)

Yes, the font pack doesn't come with webfonts but you can convert them to the right format if you want.

Great, thank you! Just double checking, that doesn’t conflict with the “web server” portion of the license?

(+1)

It's all good, no conflict. You can use it!

(+1)

Apologies if I missed this on the license agreement, but if I bought this, would I be able to modify the fonts by adding color, gloss, or anything additional to turn them into bitmap fonts? These would only be put in games I'd make and not distributed separately.

(+2)

Yes you can! Where out license says do not modify, we mean the otf/ttf files themselves for redistribution etc. - you can absolutely use them to make different colored graphics and logos and bitmap fonts for use in your games and stuff.

Could I use these for just comics or shirts and not games?

(+1)

Yes absolutely, the license terms let you use the fonts for pretty much all print & digital use (the few exceptions are noted in the terms)

Thank you!

(+3)

Do the fonts include characters like á, é í, ó, ú, ã, õ, à, ü, ç, in lower case and upper case variants

(+4)

Around a third of the fonts have these latin accents, you can see on our dafont profile here (This link uses some accents characters as the preview and has the box ticked to only show our fonts that contain them): https://www.dafont.com/chequered-ink.d6231?text=%C1%E1%C9%E9%CD%ED%D3%F3U%FA&a=o...

Found this on bsky, thank you! This is awesome

As a point of feedback, though, it seems fontspace.com can't be filtered by both designer AND tag (unless I'm missing something), so sorting through these when you're looking for a specific vibe is a bit of a challenge.

Could the download zip file maybe have them at least sorted into some kind of rough top-level category folder structure? Like regular sans/serif, handwriting, pixel, or whatever -- or what would you recommend for browsing these more purposefully?

(+4)

Thanks for the feedback. We will absolutely look into creating an updated version with fonts sorted into folders - plus we were thinking of adding some kind of preview tool into the pack to make previewing your text in each font easier.

You can also view the vast majority of fonts on our dafont profile: Chequered Ink | dafont.com

It doesn't let you sort by both artist & theme either, but it does seem to load faster and can be set to show 200 fonts per page for easier scrolling.

(+6)

UPDATE: we have now added a version of the zip folder with the fonts sorted into 20 subfolders by category - I hope this helps! :)

Excellent, thank you!

So are all fonts .ttf?

(+3)

Most of the fonts are .otf format, some are .ttf. It's easy to convert between the two for the format you need these days - we'll look into providing both options in a future update.

We're also happy for you to convert to webfont format as needed.
