This pack is absolutely fantastic and exactly what I have been looking for. I've been making a game for months, doing all the coding and getting all the mechanics working but I'm no good at graphics so I will be using these in my game. This is the answer to my prayers right here. Thank you so much for offering these up for free. When I have the money I will make a donation and you will definitely get a mention in my game when it is (eventually) released on Steam. Can I ask why did you eventually decide not to make the game with these? - Not to worry, you're hard work is about to come to life in my epic adventure game :)
Thank you so much it's great to hear that and we'd love to see your game when it's done! Please stay in touch with us and show us the game, if you have a bluesky account or a mailing list do let us know so we can follow you.
We had the game all planned out, and we had a lot of fun making all the graphics (we did them before even doing any code)... but adventure games of this scale take a long time to make as I'm sure you know from making your own! So we had to move on to other work to keep money coming in, and never got back to working on this one project.
Nowadays we're heading in a direction where we're making lots of free game assets, so it seemed right to post these and hope that someone like you would make a wonderful new game with them :)
Hi this may sound silly and I'm probably just not seeing it, but any chance you could post an image of a dungeon mock-up using these tiles? I've tried a number of tile combinations and can't seem to find a combination that looks like a dungeon. Maybe I've just been working too long and hard recently lol. Thanks.
I just whipped this up quickly in GameMaker. The Indoor tiles have various dungeon-like walls and floors - and I've thrown the player sprite and a couple of enemies on there too.
